My youngest sister Arina is expecting her 3rd baby soon. A wonderful American tradition is to Shower the mama and the baby with prayers, presents and good advice. Our mama gave a God-inspired speech for all of us - mothers - on how to be able to discern the times that our children are growing up in. She stressed the urgency to commit ourselves to a full time ministry to our families. Mama said that prayer and an obedient life in Word are the main components of successful parenting.
Каждое дело в нашей жизни нужно делать с любовью. Если наши дела сделаны без любви, то они не имеют никакого значения перед лицом Бога. Да, эти дела может быть и будут успешными в наших глазах. Мы будем смотреться, как очень занятые и трудолюбивые люди. Но, если наша мотивация во всей нашей активности является что-то другое кроме любви, то не будет нам никакой пользы. Так говорит Библия.
Сегодня мы покушали как минимум 5 раз. И даже в ресторанчик к вечеру попали. Стараюсь вспомнить сколько раз мы с мальчиками говорили о Боге, о Библии, о любви, о добром и прекрасном...
“Reaping the fruit” has a special sense to me. The Bible is pretty clear that whatever I sow, that I will reap. In my life, in the lives of my children. Praying that God straightens my walk with Him, so that I will sow only the most beautiful seeds of love, forgiveness, kindness, empathy, sacrifice, patience. Is it easy? Not at all. Is it worth it? Yes!!!
Why do we gather in the park this Summer? One of the biggest motivators is the following Bible passage: “That the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭78:6-7‬ ‭_ Pictured here is a Bible lesson, led by one of the dedicated and sacrificial moms - @loragid - Her enthusiasm is fired up by the great love for Jesus and by an immense desire to advance the Kingdom of a God wherever she is.
